marketRx Appoints Two Top Industry Executives
Bridgewater, NJ, October 1, 2002 -- marketRx, the leading provider of marketing informatics products and services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device manufacturers announced today that it has further strengthened its management team by adding two industry veterans. Joining marketRx as Vice-President is Robert Brown, D.Sc.; and Patrick Brundage as Vice-President of Professional Services.
Robert Brown, D.Sc. brings over 25 years of healthcare sales and marketing experience. In this capacity, Dr. Brown will combine his knowledge of pharmaceutical sales and marketing with emerging trends in the pharmaceutical marketplace, to guide the development of new product concepts. Dr. Brown is a widely recognized authority on sales force design and promotion optimization. Before joining marketRx, Dr. Brown served as CEO and Chairman of Health Products Research, Inc., now a division of Ventiv Health, Inc.

Patrick Brundage has been appointed Vice-President of Professional Services. In this capacity, Mr. Brundage will manage a professional services team spread across multiple geographic locations, providing deployment of the marketRx marketing solutions in pharmaceutical and biotech organizations that span Internet market research, interactive marketing (e-Detailing), marketing analytics, and strategic and tactical sales-force planning. Before joining marketRx, Mr. Brundage was Vice-President of the Research and Consulting business unit at NDCHealthTM. Since starting his career in the pharmaceutical industry with ZS Associates, Mr. Brundage has focused on improving the productivity and effectiveness of pharmaceutical companies' sales and marketing strategies and tactics through advanced analysis of prescription and medical information.
